Before ascending the steps to Lady Estelle's place, Sterling stopped to check the slight pinch at his side. He lifted his tunic just far enough to find several of the puffer's poison darts sticking out just under his ribs. Without informing his page, the knight removed the needles, wrapped them and stored them in his clothing.
